Even though the Clockwork Assault Rifle only deals a base damage of 19, it can be a very powerful weapon, as it technically deals 57 damage + the damage of the bullet used multiplied by 3. This is due to the fact that it fires in 3 round bursts and consumes just one bullet.
It is very useful against powerful bosses like The Twins.

- The item's sprite appears to be reminiscent of the Steampunk art style. The item name, Clockwork Assault Rifle, is also similar.
- The bullets fired from this rifle appear to be smaller than the bullets fired from other guns.
