The Cochineal Beetle is an enemy that spawns in the Underground Biome. It has a 100% chance of dropping a Red Husk, which is used to create Red Dye. It has an Ice Biome cousin called the Cyan Beetle which fulfills a similar role, dropping Cyan Husks, as well as the Jungle's Lac Beetle, which drops Violet Husks. Since these are somewhat rare, it is recommended to use a Battle Potion and a Water Candle to try and attract as many as possible.
