Crimson Axes are Crimson variants of the Cursed Hammer and the Enchanted Sword. It spawns only during Hardmode in the Underground Crimson. It attacks much like its counterparts, spinning and then lunging at the player. It appears as a cursed Blood Lust Cluster.

- It was added in the 1.2 Update.
- It has lower health than its counterparts, but makes up for it with its high attack.
- The Crimson Axe is the only one of the "evil tools" whose item can be obtained pre-Hardmode.
