Eater of Souls is a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns in the Corruption. They can be hard to defeat for newer players but can be easily defeated when a certain stage of the game is reached.

- Eater of Souls do not attack directly, they wait for a while before charging in.
- They can follow the player out of the corruption.
- They cannot enter water, like pixies.
